Dugout Shelter Under 10ft (3m) of Snow - Solo Camping in Survival Shelter During Snow Storm

Hey, I was reading this crazy article about a guy who survived a snowstorm by camping solo in a dugout shelter under 10ft of snow! Can you believe that?

Basically, this outdoors enthusiast was out camping when a massive snowstorm hit. Instead of freaking out and trying to get back to civilization, he decided to hunker down and create a shelter out of the snow. He dug a hole in the ground and then piled up snow on top of it until he had created a shelter that was completely covered in snow.

He stayed in the shelter for several days, surviving by melting snow for water and using a small propane heater to stay warm. He even had to dig out the entrance to his shelter several times when the snow piled up too high.

Personally, I love camping, but I don’t think I would ever be brave enough to camp solo in a snowstorm! It just goes to show how important it is to always be prepared and have survival skills for any situation.

Overall, this article was interesting because it shows that with a little creativity and determination, you can survive almost anything. Plus, it’s always good to have a reminder that the great outdoors can be both beautiful and dangerous, so it’s important to respect it and prepare for any situation that may arise.
