So I was just reading this crazy article about this concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater near Denver - apparently a hailstorm hit during the show and ended up hurting dozens of concertgoers! The hail was so bad that they had to cancel the rest of the concert, which included Louis Tomlinson as one of the headliners.
Basically, the article talks about how people were trying to seek shelter and the hail was so intense that it caused a lot of damage - even breaking car windows! Thankfully, there were no major injuries, but it still sounds pretty scary.
It’s funny because I’ve actually been to Red Rocks before and it’s such a beautiful venue, but it’s also completely open-air, which means that when the weather decides to act up, you’re pretty much at its mercy. I can’t even imagine being there during a hailstorm - that sounds like a nightmare!
Overall, I think this article is important because it highlights how unpredictable and dangerous weather can be, and how important it is for event organizers to have plans in place to ensure the safety of concertgoers. It’s also a reminder to always check the weather before heading out to an outdoor event - you never know what could happen!
