Kedarnath: 'I sat on a tree for days amid deadly floods'

So, I read this crazy article about this guy who survived deadly floods at Kedarnath by sitting on a tree for days!

Basically, back in 2013, this entire area in India was hit by really heavy rains and flash floods. It was a huge disaster, and so many people lost their lives. But this one guy, Vaibhav Rana, managed to survive by climbing up a tree and staying there for almost four days straight!

Can you imagine? He said he was completely alone, with no food or water, and he had to pee in plastic bags. Yuck. But somehow he managed to stay alive until the rescue teams found him.

I found this story so incredible because it really shows the power of Mother Nature, and how sometimes all you can do is just try to hang on for dear life. It’s also a reminder of how important it is to listen to safety warnings and take them seriously - because you never know when disaster might strike.
