Opinion | Only One State in America Includes the Study of Climate Change for All Grades

I was just reading this super interesting article about climate change education, and it blew my mind. Did you know that only ONE state in America requires all grades to study it? Yeah, crazy right? The article dives into how this lack of education could negatively impact the future if we don’t start educating kids about the crucial issue of climate change.

Basically, the article points out that many states either completely ignore the topic or only mention it briefly in passing. This is a huge shame because climate change has such a massive impact on our lives. I mean, just look at how much the weather has shifted in the past few years! It’s insane.

And honestly, it baffles me that more states aren’t on board with incorporating climate change into their curriculum. It’s such an important issue that affects every single person on this planet, and our kids deserve to know about it.
