Rain, snow totals from Colorado's May 10-11, 2023 storm

So, I just read this article about the crazy snowstorm that hit Colorado on May 10-11, 2023. It’s crazy to think about snow in May, but it happened! According to the article, some areas got over a foot of snow while others saw lots of rain.

Apparently, the snowfall in the Denver area totaled around 7 inches, while higher elevations got hit harder with up to 18 inches. But the weirdest thing was that some areas even got hail! I’ve never heard of hail during a snowstorm, have you?

It’s definitely interesting to see how weather patterns can change so drastically and cause unexpected events like this. Plus, it’s an important reminder for everyone to be prepared and stay safe during extreme weather. And who knows, maybe someday we’ll be telling our grandkids about the time it snowed in May!
