V Floods Social Media With OT7 Videos For BTS's 10th Anniversary

So I just read this wild article about how the BTS fandom is celebrating the group’s 10th anniversary by flooding social media with videos of one particular member, V. Essentially, they’re trying to get his name trending so that more people notice him and become fans, too.

Apparently, this is a thing that fans have been doing for years, but it’s especially important now because BTS is so massive that it can be easy for individual members to get lost in the shuffle. V has always been popular, but this campaign is taking things to the next level.

As someone who has dabbled in fandoms before, I can definitely relate to the impulse to uplift your favorite member and try to get others on board. But I also know how intense things can get when a fandom is really passionate, and I have to wonder if this campaign could backfire in some way. Will fans who don’t care about V feel alienated? Will he become so popular that he starts to overshadow other members and create drama within the group?
