Iowa meteorologist quitting TV, cites PTSD from death threat over climate change coverage

So, I just read about this Iowa meteorologist who quit her job because of PTSD from a death threat she received over her coverage of climate change. It’s crazy how people can get so worked up over something that’s just pure science.

Basically, the meteorologist was doing her job, reporting on the unfolding climate crisis and how it was affecting Iowa, when she received a threatening email that really shook her up. She felt like her life was in danger and had to quit her job because of it.

It’s just appalling that someone would threaten violence over something as important as climate change. It’s a serious issue that’s going to affect all of us, whether we like it or not. We need to be having more conversations about how to tackle it, not threatening violence against people who are just trying to inform others.

I can’t believe that someone would be so foolish as to issue a death threat over a meteorologist reporting on climate change. It’s a really important issue that concerns everyone, and we need to take it seriously. It’s clear that the meteorologist did the right thing by stepping down, but I hope this doesn’t deter other people from speaking out about this important topic.
